Scrum Master Course

Understanding the Scrum framework and practical preparation for working with development teams

Scrum is the most commonly used approach for developing complex technological products. It is used by organizations of all sizes – from startups to large corporations and public institutions.

The Scrum Master’s role is to help development teams and the organization effectively use the Scrum framework, remove organizational impediments, and create conditions for successful collaboration. Their goal is to ensure the efficiency of the development process.

The Scrum Master course is designed for individuals who want to understand Scrum in practice and gain knowledge for working with development teams. We recognize that teams are not abstract entities, but are composed of people with diverse interests, personalities, knowledge, and motivation levels.

This course is suitable for:

• future Scrum Masters,

Prior knowledge of the Scrum framework is not required to participate.

After completing the course, you will:

• understand the process, roles, events, and artifacts of the Scrum framework,
• be able to plan and execute Scrum events,
• understand the responsibilities of a Scrum Master in practice,
• identify the most common organizational and team impediments,
• know facilitation, collaboration, motivation, and process improvement techniques,
• understand the difference between Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile approaches,
• gain a foundation for further development towards Agile coaching and organizational growth in a Scaled Agile environment.

Certification Preparation

The course content provides the knowledge for directly taking the following certifications:

• Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I),
• Professional Scrum Master II (PSM II),
• Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I),

It also serves as a basis for the more demanding PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification.

Scrum Master is an intensive 4-day, 18-hour course available in Slovenian or English. It is conducted via remote platform and runs daily from 8:00 to approximately 12:30.

The course is equivalent to the beginners and advanced Scrum Master courses offered by other providers.

Upon completion, participants receive a certificate of training.
